Right, so interplanetary deliveries will take a bit longer.
I suppose that's just about acceptable.

I live state side and received mine today. 785 of 2000. If this is any indication I suspect they are going to sell out fairly fast.

I just compared the content of the 344p book versus the 4x80p DVD booklets and 2x56p BD booklets.
The 344p have the entirety of the 4x80p DVD booklets.

I ordered from Eureka on October 28th or 29th I think and received # 454 today in Michigan.

Whoops. I forgot to cancel my Amazon UK pre-order for this title. So I believe I have it, plus a Eureka website order, on the way. The problem is, I can only "believe" about the Eureka order, since I don't get shipping confirmation. Is there any way Eureka can confirm to me that my order has shipped, so that I may be able to cancel the Amazon order before it ships soon? Or, barring that, simply cancel the Eureka order if it has not indeed shipped?
If not, then I believe I'll have an extra box to sell for a fairly unreasonable price at a convenient later date.

Just got my copy. It probably has a number on it, but who cares?
I just wanted to report that the book with this would stun an ox. I presume there's a lot more material in it than was in the previous editions. Either that or it's been saddled with a jumbo font designed for long-distance reading.

Arrived here in Boston today -- will test something out tonight (which means postponing Act 2 of The Barber of Seville).

Seriously. I left it alone for five minutes and it ate my
Walden book.

Good thing you didn't pay through the nose for that Walden book.

Oyu-sama looks pretty lovely (despite showing signs of age that I'm glad MOC didn't try to blot out).

My copy crossed the ocean safely to Canada. Bonus points for MoC's packing practices; the two layers of cardboard did a lot to protect the item, with only a minor bump to the box.
One good thing about the book: there is little chance of misplacing it as happens once in a while with thin DVD booklets. However, it is harder to handle since it is not made to open out flat (unless you wish to crack the spine).
I had thought MoC might have taken this opportunity to scale down on the packaging, reducing costs by using 2-disc cases (or even a single 4-disc one). Instead, they chose to give this release the heft and visual quality such works highly deserve.
The only thing left to do now is viewing the movies...

While it's indeed very nice looking and high quality feeling, I probably wouldn't have been against tryng to fit more discs per case to save some shelf space.

Damn, I got a glimpse of my box number last night and now I'm tempted to post the damned thing. Must. . . resist. . .

Mine also came to Canada today, but not so much luck, it received a blow on the box spine hard enough to dent it and split the paper on the top edge. But this is par for the course for me and mail order. As a limited edition item I don't think there is much to be done about it, anyway. On the shelf the damage will not be noticeable.
#70, by the way.

Actually, you might want to reach Kevin on that if you think it's bad enough. It seems that they might have some spare outer box (not numbered) that they could send to people who received sets too damaged. You would then just have to peal the sticker and stick it back on the new mint box (Kevin wrote it should be easily feasible).
