I wanted to guess this, and I'm pretty positive Criterion will release it, but it's just barely starting it's theatrical run stateside. I'm gonna guess it'll be a July title like Perfect Days was. either way, I hope to see it in a theatre!

I wouldn’t have used it as my pick either had I not noticed that the film’s already been made available digitally this week. I guess that already settles its theatrical ambitions early on, similar to Joshua Oppenheimer’s The End. FWIW, I think Criterion will do a BD only as Neon only offer the film in HD digitally.

Edit: Haha, my post & pick(s) didn’t age well, so it’ll probably be a July title.

The May lineup is fine movies overall, but it feels like so many upgrades and already released titles, I'm having for once a hard time being as interested as I'm usually is.

I'm the same. Killer of Sheep is the only one I want.

I somehow not only managed to get three right (impressive cause I don't think we had hints for these? aside from some activity in the Milestone thread), but even got a Richard Lester mention in! probably my best ever performance in this thread
