The film elements for the Samuel Goldwyn Productions films, currently stored at the Academy Film Archive, are apparently in terrible shape. (I think) only Dodsworth and The Best Years of Our Lives have been restored by The Film Foundation. Warner Bros. distributes but does not own the Samuel Goldwyn catalog, so they aren't responsible for restoring them.

Also, someone correct me if I'm wrong, I think WB is barred from sublicensing the Samuel Goldwyn catalog.

I’m sure we’ll find out more about Spook Who Sat by the Door when it plays at the Hammer Museum next month. A new adaptation was in development as a TV miniseries, but I haven’t heard anything about that in a while

Would be more thematic to have a box of his Hollywood films with a reprinting of the book on his time in Hollywood, Max Ophuls In The Hollywood Studios (w. The Exile, Letter From An Unknown Woman, Caughr & The Reckless Moment). And a separate one for the end of his career: La Ronde, Plaisir, Madame de...., & Lola Montes (which Criterion probably intended at least for the first 3, but scrapped as suggested by the artwork & spine numbers).
