So, I have a question Nick: how can you guys afford these sales? With free shipping all the way to me in Oregon, I feel like I'm getting the deal and you're getting the short end. And I'm buying a lot of MoCs right now - I don't want to rip you guys off!

I think not removing VAT from the price pays for the shipping in itself.

However they're doing it, they're doing it well. I ordered a box of eight DVDs from the last sale and it arrived with no problems. The box was tight as a drum with a mailer bubble in it. Whoever packed it did it quite well.

I've had similar experiences and with no MOC releases the next two months I hope the sales keep up and additional titles are added, as I will take the opportunity to catch up on older titles.

Thanks to your advice, I placed my order to Kevin on Monday.

I just want to praise the quality of communication you show. It's good to see this kind of reactivity that, I think, lacks in much of the companies nowadays.
I hope it pays in terms in sales, especially now, with a saturated market. The collection really worthes it.

Moreover, with all these sales and the free shipping, it's probably the kind of no brainer I will check every month !

I may sound biased, but you really do a great job, and I hope you will be able to do so for a long time.

Updated Eureka newsletter with some more non-MoC Eureka titles announced: http://www.eurekavideo.co.uk/offers/new ... 40310.html

However the best news is that another 48 titles have been added to the Eureka sale! Better hurry as they are only available for four days! Clicky

Bought Nous ne vieillirons pas ensemble.

I had to restrain myself from buying Police and À nos amours for the moment, it's painful. :(

I bought Tartuffe, The Holy Mountain and Shoeshine. I've got all the German and Italian language MoC's now so hopefully there are more to come!

Please don't tempt me to start exploring another area of world cinema... I've spent more than enough recently... :P

Well, I'm certainly not going to be tempted again. Nosiree. I mean, why bother? There's only one of those titles I don't have, and I've got the Criterion version, and nobody's ever going to notice the gap on the shelf, and MoC can't expect me to get everything they release just for the sake of completeness. And for the very fine booklets. And it's only a couple of months to wait until that Imamura BluRay. And. . . Oh bugger, looks like my finger slipped.

But seriously, if you haven't got the Naruse set, this could be the best 15 quid you've ever spent (I'm looking at you, TM Daines - we'll let you leave the rest of Japanese cinema another few months).

I'm sill going to buy it, but am I correct in assuming the Naruse set is Region 2? My Philips player died and my up-converting Sony only plays R1.

I bought it when it was a little more, and it was the best £20 I ever spent.

I hadn't even concluded what to order from the last selection yet! Still, I've always worked best to a deadline...

Talking of the lack of an order basket (again), I've thus far just ordered each item individually - doesn't bother me personally, but I hope it doesn't make it somehow awkward at the other end, having to process half a dozen individual purchases together into one shipment.

Once you're done perusing you can place your order with Kevin directly. He will then send you an invoice via paypal; best costumer service ever.

Yes--best excuse ever for buying a new multi-region player.
