I'm on Firefox and it's fine for me-- there's some flash videos in the blog post though, try updating at Macromedia

Hmmm, what movie this might be? Let the speculations begin!
Von Trier Box set. (searching for an 'Irony' emoticon)

Copenhagen archives... this has to be Phantom Carriage. Vampyr is another possibility (to get other language cuts of the film, perhaps) but the restoration for that film was done in Italy, I believe.

Our own justeleblanc reported on his blog a couple of weeks ago that Criterion was beginning work on Vampyr, and that they would be doing their own restoration from scratch.

I am mistaken. god-damned Scandinavia (it must be noted that I am mistaken in my Phantom Carriage knowledge, of which I have none, as I am well aware of the location of Copehagen, having visited the 'lovely' 'town').

FWIW, the first and (so far) only time I visited Copenhagen, I flew into the airport and promptly got on board the wrong train and the next stop was in Sweden! So Copenhagen is a lot closer to Sweden than it is to much of the rest of its own nation.

Tamara's latest musings confirm the summer release of Mishima's Patriotism (as a supplement to the Schrader film, I'm assuming. But who knows).

Or Patriotism as a special feature for this summer's release of Schrader's MISHIMA.

EDIT: our posts crossed.

Am I nuts or does this confirm both the Patriotism short and the novella will be included? Why else would Tamara be transcribing the novella? This is going to be quite a package.

First comment: "hey what's up with the weird "Mishima" cover? is that really the finalized design? If so, what was the thinking behind it?"

That poster has clearly mistaken that forum for this one. Somebody direct him here for all his petulant cover bitching needs.

I tried talking about it on other boards but I gotta tell you, the ESPN March Madness forum was not as interested in Mishima as I'd figured

Who, according to IMDB only made eight films, depending on their run times, I wonder what would be included (other than The Ascent), it would be pretty audacious to say all?

If all the rights to her films are controlled by one license holder, it could very well happen.
