I got charged for my one backordered purchase, LA Confidential, about a week ago, but the blu-ray hasn't shown up yet. Seems as though it's probably out of backorder now.

My order finally arrived. I emailed them many weeks ago and got the backorder reply, so I thought I would just wait it out.. At least it arrived before Christmas since some of these are gifts. This program must have been a lot more popular than they originally imagined.

For those wondering which of their titles were backordered, I ordered: 2001, An American in Paris, Clockwork Orange, The Orphanage, The Searchers, V for Vendetta, The Wild Bunch.

My order arrived today - originally mailed my discs on 12/6. Awesome deal.

Good news as I have a fresh batch of unsalable "drink coaster" discs but unless they also expand the range of available titles I'm done. There are about a dozen more "deep library" titles I'd be interested in (NORTH BY NORTHWEST, WIZARD OF OZ, A STAR IS BORN, etc.) but nothing more recent than GOODFELLAS. BTW was there ever any explanation as to why FULL METAL JACKET and L.A. CONFIDENTIAL were two bucks more than the other film titles (incl. special editions)? Just curious.

This promotion still appears to be ongoing (and continuing to accept any pressed discs from any source short of porn) but only offering the same lineup of titles as last year. Anyone hear of any plans to expand the selection to more recent releases such as those I mentioned last March?
