Summer Sale is live at Arrow until the 29th June.

Amazon can stick their now permanently inflated prices for these recent Arrow titles.

But on the other end, all the regular pre orders went down to £12.3 on Amazon.

Sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere as I have been away for a while and not kept up to date with a lot of the discussions. Is the "Tenebrae" steelbook that is part of the current Arrow sale the same that used to be a Zavvi exclusive, i.e. the newly remastered edition that got excellent reviews (from all accounts it looks that way)?

And Inferno and Phenomena are still the old versions with mixed blessings (Inferno being repackaged)? As both of these are now being offered as Zavvi steelbooks on their website but not on Arrow's, does it mean that the Zavvi steelbook versions are remastered like Tenebrae and I missed that Arrow redid them?

I believe only "Tenebrae" was remastered.
Scratched a few more off my Arrow wishlist. Remember for international customers that orders over £50 have a free shipping option.

I haven't read otherwise and currently assume this is indeed the Zavvi "Steelbook with a new master" release.

Is The Beyond steelbook the same video as the dual-format release? Or is it an upgrade in PQ?

As far as I recall, Tenebre was the only one of these steelbooks to feature a remastered feature. All the rest are just repackaging the earlier releases.

Just when I needed that copy of White of the Eye! How often does Arrow do these sales?

This and the last two were each about three months apart.

Ah, that's good to know. I didn't even know about the last sale so I'm glad these aren't too rare.

My sale order has been "At Warehouse" since Friday. Should I start inquiries?

Mine too; however, I made another order a couple of days ago and that has since shipped. Probably one particular title they're waiting on to restock.

They said mine had shipped Tuesday and there was a glitch on the site preventing the status from updating. FYI in case someone else's appears stuck.

I see that I've accumulated some reward points with Arrow, but I have no idea what they're worth, and I can't find any definition or explanation on the web site. Do I have to try applying them to an order to find out?

They're a penny each.

Q. What on Earth are these Reward Points all about? And what do they do for me? And how can they be redeemed? Ahhh! So many questions!

A. We're glad you asked. For every item you purchase from us, you will receive a number of Reward Points as a little thank you. 1 Reward Point = £0.01, so collect 100 points and you've got yourself £1 cash back! Collect 200 points and.... well, you get the idea. Points can be redeemed on any purchases that you make from our online shop.

To apply your Reward Points simply click to view your Shopping Cart, scroll down and the select the option "Use Reward Points". Enter the number of points you'd like to use, hit "Apply Points", and Bob's your Uncle - money off your Shopping Cart! Simple, huh?

The difference between other reward schemes, is that 10 points for every pound you spend, so essentially they give you 10% off every item.
Unless Zavvi has a 10% off voucher applicable to pre-orders, the Arrow store is a great place to pre-order their stuff.

Did the Phibes set just sell out from Arrow's website? I can't find it on their store (same with other titles that have sold out, so I assume the worst). I imagine I can still purchase this from Amazon, etc. It probably didn't help that they retweet every last person who ever purchased the Phibes set on Twitter (like 10+ a day... rather spamming up individual's twitter feeds)

Sheesh, when did Arrow become Twilight Time and sellout before/right after their release date? These limited edition titles are headache inducing.

Stray Cat Rock is also apparently 70% sold out, despite being 3 months away from release (well, it was claimed to be anyway; I can't find the referenced post about it on Arrow's Facebook)
