Yes, and with a slightly higher file size for the feature. I'm just glad it's not worse than the US equivalent, though I had a feeling it would be up to scratch. It would've been the ultimate package had they manage to clear the rights for Le Sang des Bêtes - the reason this was held up for over a year - but it's still worth getting as it has different extras to the Criterion release. For those that already have the Criterion and are region-free, might be worth getting this when it falls in price sometime in the coming months, but as I'm Region B only this is still day-one for me!

Yeah, real shame about the missing short, but it seems they were doing their best given all the delays. I will still be buying.

I just remembered the BFI BD was the only edition with the wonderful La Premiere Nuit short and this is still the case with all the 4Ks. The Umbrella 4K has Blood of the Beasts so I'll keep that and get the BFI for La Premiere Nuit and the encode might be better on the main feature.

It’s time to rather have these Franju shorts properly restored and collected in one release.
