The Rider going MOD would be a shock, though I suppose it shouldn't be after Sony released Toni Erdmann on DVD only. If it does in fact turn out to be a BD-R, anyone interested should hold off to see if it gets a proper Blu release from its UK distributor Altitude—not all of their slate does, but they've already done one pressed BD of a title (Human Flow) that's only available as an MOD Blu in the U.S.

Freejack, Robin and Marian, and Young Guns II coming to Blu-ray in November. Presumably these will be pressed Blu-rays like the rest of Sony's recent MODs

Freejack & Young Guns II were Warner DVD releases, how'd they end up with Sony?

The Last Supper is also coming in November-- like the Temp, here's another movie I haven't thought of in decades

Morgan Creek retained ownership of the films they produced and sold the catalog to Sony a few years ago. WB only had limited distribution rights.

I'll join the choir in singing the praises of this overlooked one. But that Amazon description is going to keep this an overlooked film. Nowhere does it mention so much as the word Watergate, let alone advertise the unique send-up of All the Presidents Men. I just really hope that in today's American political climate that this film gets a little more appreciation.

Received my copy of Dick today (pressed disc), watched it tonight-- looks great, no awful revisionist restoration colors here. Always a treat when one of my all time favs gets upgraded

It is perhaps not that surprising that this film is getting released seeing as a restored DCP screened at Il cinema ritrovato in Bologna this summer.

The program info stated “Restored in 2018 by Sony Pictures Entertainment at Roundabout Entertainment, Cineric, Inc., Deluxe Audio Services, MTI Film Hollywood laboratories from the 35mm original nitrate negative, the 35mm original optical track and a 35mm fine grain for replacement of damaged sections”

In my opinion this really isn’t a Criterion or MoC level title, so Sony MOD seems like a better fit to me.

It's surprising because remind me again how many 1940s studio films Sony has released via their MOD Blu-ray program...

None Shall Escape is a rather stunning film—not perfect by any means, but certainly one of the few wartime American films to acknowledge some of the horrors that later became known as the Holocaust.
