Oh man, looks like The Final Game of Death isn't making it to the individual release. Not the biggest Lee fan, but the notices I've been seeing for that extra have been tipping me closer and closer to buying.dwk wrote: Fri Sep 15, 2023 2:42 pm Arrow announced they are going to be releasing these titles individually as limited editions.
It is, it's just included in the Way of the Dragon release for some reason.Mario G. wrote: Fri Sep 15, 2023 3:11 pmOh man, looks like The Final Game of Death isn't making it to the individual release. I thought it was quite good and thorough and full of interesting information, but wow is he ever not a fan of Enter the dragon’s direction!reaky wrote:The feature-length Tony Rayns appraisal of Bruce Lee’s career is on Fist of Fury. Is that worthwhile?
Between Lo Wei and Robert Clouse, Bruce Lee couldn't have done much worse if he'd been directed by Ed Wood or Jess Franco!unclehulot wrote: Sun Sep 17, 2023 11:05 pmI thought it was quite good and thorough and full of interesting information, but wow is he ever not a fan of Enter the dragon’s direction!reaky wrote:The feature-length Tony Rayns appraisal of Bruce Lee’s career is on Fist of Fury. Sure, as is everything Rayns does. The 80 minutes flew by. Fist of Fury also has a Jonathan Clements commetary making it the best disc in the set for scholarly material.reaky wrote: Sat Sep 16, 2023 9:52 am The feature-length Tony Rayns appraisal of Bruce Lee’s career is on Fist of Fury. Clements' book on the history of martial arts is superb too.EddieLarkin wrote: Tue Sep 26, 2023 1:41 pmSure, as is everything Rayns does. The 80 minutes flew by. Someone bought the individual blu for Way of the Dragon and confirmed that The Final Game of Death is not included in it. Included instead are the 2 older documentaries, Bruce Lee: The Man & The Legend (1973) and Bruce Lee: The Legend (1984). No word yet if this mistake appears on the 4K release.Grand Wazoo wrote: Fri Sep 15, 2023 3:51 pmIt is, it's just included in the Way of the Dragon release for some reason.Mario G. wrote: Fri Sep 15, 2023 3:11 pmOh man, looks like The Final Game of Death isn't making it to the individual release.
