I'm using this time to catch up on my MoC kevyip (quite large after all these sales!). I've still got a couple Mizoguchi discs and some Murnaus on the way too. While the old sales are up, let me repeat: L'argent L'argent L'argent. Also thought the package for Der Letzte Mann was fantastic, great sups and writings.

Excellent! I'm stewing over the very meaty extras right now. What a giant and beautiful book! This is truly one of the most deluxe single-film DVDs I own.

I got the Mabuse boxset today :). Excellent of course but a bit strange. Ordered four other discs three days earlier and this one came first, really looking forward to L'argent (one of the four I´m waiting for) now when svevan is pushing so for it :D

Does no april offer means that march one is still available? There's still few titles I'd like to pick up ;)

If the Blu of Mankind was cheaper still, I'd have bought it. If absolutely no retailer offers it for less by year's end, I'll bite the bullet.

It's kind of weird to do a Pialat pack, now that everbody probably already bought at least one of them, especially since they were in special sales for all of them.

But anyway. I will probably take Shoah, and maybe the Kurosawa pack. There's still some amazing deals.

Plus, I don't know why, but the Mabuse boxset has lost a few pounds since last sale.

These sales are aimed at more than just the members of this forum, you know - I have none of the Pialats, and am tempted by that pack, though having just shelled out for all the blu-rays, I might have to give that a miss.

Shoah and the Kurosawa pack are indeed pretty tempting.

You'd be surprised. I don't have any of the Pialats or the Kurosawas, but I do have all the German silents (except for Metro). Swings and roundabouts.

I own 63 MoC discs and there's not a single Pialat in there too. Still, this set as nice as it is is financially out of my reach right now :( I wish they had reduced the price of the Soul Power blu along with the DVD; I'd have grabbed that one. I should really buy the Mabuse set though, that's a real bargain.

I don't yet have any of the Pialats either. VERY tempted if I can clear it with the wife. [-o<

That German cinema bundle is very tempting, but what in the world would I do with a fourth copy of Metropolis (and soon to be fifth once the Blu-ray comes out)?

Just a quick question. Since the marchsale page is still up, does that mean that you can still buy from that sale as well or is it officially closed since it´s april?

My experience has been that so long as the page is up, they'll sell (the four-day sale last month lasted five or six days). But you should write to Kevin at [email protected] before you give them your money, probably.

What a pity, that Eureka changed the price for the Blu-ray bundle. I had it in the Paypal shopping list for the original 69 Pounds!

In my opinion its an offer for spine complementists - as normally you wouldn't be interested in all 7 films. And complementists have for or less some of the titles, which makes the offer unattractive which has to be reflected in the price - I am ok with 69! :-)

Drat! I've got everything. Some great bargains for newcomers to MoC, however, particularly those groupings that come out a third of the original price (my pick: the Shindo / Shinoda / Kobayashi one - all of those films are great and none of them are available (intact) in R1, as far as I know). Not quite as dirt cheap, but the Mizoguchi set is amazing value.

I'm quite bumped, as I bought 3 of them last month, but, blah. I still have the Shoah box to buy anyway.

I'm opting for the Shinoda/Shindo/Kobayashi pack for now...and if the money rolls in before Friday, the Italian set as well. I have one of the Mizos, and I want the other three, but...not this time I guess.
