Just ordered For All Mankind and Soul Power. Tempted with a couple of others, but I don't want to make my bank manager cry.

Isn't this one of the titles that is getting an upgrade to Blu - and therefore the standard DVD is being discontinued once the current pressing has sold out?

Not that I know of. La Planete Sauvage IS getting up an upgrade (July according to Twitter), but I don't recall Gandahar being mentioned.

As I've just ordered Gandahar - because it's going out of print - along with Tabu, Tokyo Sonata Blu and the Maysles, I won't be best pleased.

On the other hand, I've been meaning to get it for ages - ever since watching La Planete Sauuvage - so I really should have bought it a long time ago anyway.

It would be nice to get this clarified, if Gandahar and Tokyo Sonata (blu) are going out of print then I'll need to put an order in, though of course if Gandahar is being released in blu I'll wait.

Can you clarify Nick?

Sorry - wasn't trying to imply that anything other than Gandahar is going out of print (at least, not AFAIK).

Probably a careless use of punctuation...

I had actually heard about this possibility at the time of writing the reviews of the two for Beaver from a source at MoC, but didn't mention it because nothing was certain at the time. I hate to say it, but Les Maîtres du temps was mentioned for possible cancellation in the same sentence. Though, I want to stress again that I haven't heard anything since then, aside from the info on the sale page and it may well be the case that the latter title will still be in print.

There's still an active link for that here http://www.eurekavideo.co.uk/offers/feb_new.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - does anyone know if that will still be honored?

It's pretty speedy, actually. I'm on the East Coast and I've always gotten it within a week.

Just want to throw out a shout-out for Gandahar - the negativity in the Maitre du Temps/Gandahar thread is off-putting, and once I've fully absorbed the film I'm gonna go try to add some positive feedback. Meantime, those of you on the fence should pick this up while you can! Very attractive set for what it is, and at that price it's worth it.

Agreed - I'd never even heard of this film until MoC released it. Here in the states, you can have it on your door for just $13 and change. How can I not try it at that price? :D

Just as before, great service from MOC. My copy of Gandahar showed up in a sturdy box with no problems at all. They even threw in some nice postcards (great idea, by the way)! Thanks, guys.
