I preordered them as well but I did receive the Lost Souls steelbook two days after Ruggles. The Lifeboat steelbook was shipped a few days after the standard edition had already been out so there does seem to be a delay in getting the steelbooks out.

Received the Wilder's steelbooks this morning. The cardboard envelope/box was mildly damaged but the items inside appear to be in perfect condition.

Yesterday I received not one, but two Mabuse steelbooks. I'm pretty sure this is a mistake...

Is Kevin L. "Out of Office" ?
I sent him a email about three blu-ray steelbooks (Cleopatra, Rumble Fish and Das Testament ... ) I ordered two weeks ago (I'm living in Europe). I still haven't received them and didn't get a response on my emails.

Thanks Nabob.
May I ask which one? I presume not all of them were delayed.
FWIW: Amazon.co.uk mentioned at least two of them "in stock" for more than a week (I know they are not very trustworthy wrt to release dates).

I ordered the Testamentand Cleopatra steelbooks from Amazon along with Edipo Re. I was first notified of the steelbook delay (for Cleopatra only). They were dispatched in the following order:
  • Edipo Re: 26 September
    Testament: 27 September
    Cleopatra: 28 September
Why they weren't held and shipped together, I can't say. There was no additional shipping charge for the split shipments.

At any rate, Edipo Re came in yesterday's mail. I presume that I'll receive Testament today and Claudette on Monday.

Addendum: My recent shipments from Amazon UK have been running around 3 days later than the estimated delivery at time of shipment. Not sure if that's up to the Royal Mail, customs on either end or the USPS.

Cleo was delayed but they presumably held the others back because unlike Mr Triodelover mine came together

Anyone know what the story is behind the delay? Does that go for those of us who pre-ordered direct through MOC/Eureka?

Great to hear! Alas, it will still be a few days wait for me, being in th' States. But when you've waited for a blu-ray of Joan of Arc for as many years as I have, you can wait another week or two. In fact, I just bought a region free blu-ray player, just for this film!

Does anyone know whether this affects Amazon's shipping or not?

No if you ordered from Amazon it'll still be shipped around/on the release date of 26th November.

I recommend ordering directly from Eureka. http://www.eurekavideo.co.uk/offers/new.html
