I'm looking at the JEALOUSY page right now: how is $17.48 50% of $24.95?

Whiplash fans are advised to check out Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench, Chazelle's prior film and a very nice modern musical.

Cinema Guild wrote:Dear Customer,

Thank you for your order of our Stray Dogs Blu-ray or DVD. Due to unforeseen delays concerning the bonus material, as well as the holiday season, the release date has been pushed back to February 10. However, should the discs be ready any earlier, we will not wait for street date and ship them to you as soon as they are ready.

Thank you for your patience.

Has anyone noticed a minor stair-stepping pattern on all the CG DVD releases?

How were you able to resist making a poster out of every frame of the film?

This was shown at the Harvard Film Archive -- in the midst of the HOU Hsiao Hsien retrospective -- I wanted to see it, but I was already spending WAY too much time traveling to and from Cambridge. So -- I hope this shows up again in the area.

Cinema Guild acquires Jem Cohen's Counting. Can't wait to see this one. When the time comes for the Blu-ray I hope CG will be offering more Cohen shorts and that they will consider including Lost Book Found.

Cinema Guild: I know it's too late for the home video release, but feel free to use this as a pull quote from me for any and all future promotional materials for Stray Dogs: Hands down, the best wall porn I have ever seen.

On a mostly unrelated note, is there any chance of you porting over some or all of these Guerin Blu-rays?

I'll second this request, while thanking CG for Stray Dogs (which I have) and Maidan (which I'm looking forward to) and whatever else is coming.

Thanks! Guerin is certainly a filmmaker we like. IN THE CITY OF SYLVIA aside, EN CONSTRUCCION, TRAIN OF SHADOWS and INNISFREE are all great. But at the moment, we dont have plans to release any more of his films.

Since you're fielding unreasonable requests today, is there any chance of including Jauja in a Complete Lisandro Alonso Blu-ray boxset? [-o<
