Janus Films just posted on Facebook regarding new restorations of Eric Rohmer's Six Moral Tales playing theatrically. Could this herald a blu-ray upgrade, perhaps?

That would be great! This box set is probably my single favourite item Criterion has ever released.

Besides titles that have already been put out on BD (like Beauty and the Beast and Battle of Algiers 4K restorations), have there been any major Janus restorations that toured that *didn't* get a fairly quick release? I guess the War Trilogy?

Yes, definitely. Could take a while though due to the scale of the project.

For the naysayers of Heart of a Dog - Criterion's social media platforms continue to reference Anderson, even after Heart of a Dog was taken off iTunes and placed on HBO. It competed at the Venice Film Festival, it was well acclaimed, and I see no reason why Criterion wouldn't be interested in releasing a special edition.

If Criterion is smart, they'll release Silence around the time Martin Scorsese's version hits theaters.

I have predicted 4 Months, 3 Weeks, and 2 Days for two years. Get it together, Criterion.
