It hasn't been listed on Milestone's US site yet has it?

I just got confirmation from Milestone that it was a mistake. They haven't received their shipment yet and will be sending an email in the next week or so when it officially goes on sale.

It isn't Milestone but the Polish site that says it's sold out. Milestone hasn't even offered their allotment for sale yet.

Milestone isn't Mondo Prints, these boxes may sell out in a matter of hours but it's doubtful they'll sell out in a matter of minutes. Hopefully they will announce their sale during midday so no one on any of the coasts misses out by sleeping thru it!

There has to be a better way to do this. If, after waiting for months, a person is on a business trip for a couple of days, this could be come and gone. For example, they could take pre-orders and charge when the item is shipped, as Amazon does routinely. I understand Milestone is a small operation, but they really should find a way of distributing these boxes that does not alienate customers waiting patiently for months.

I seem to recall vol. 1 (initially) being sold out before i could get a copy, but then more were listed (a second shipment?) & I got one & it was still for sale at least a week after i bought mine. Not likely to be the same this time, but you never know.

Any idea of if/when ROCCO AND HIS BROTHERS will hit Bluray?

Rocco's bonus features are being filmed next month, so sometime early next year.
But to be honest, we just got 48 sales of Volume 2 in 28 minutes. I can't think of anything else at the moment. Gotta get these out!

Thanks for the heads up! This wait's gonna be tough, can't wait to see it in person.

Got my order in. Super excited. Dennis' customer service is fantastic. He emailed me directly in addition to the newsletter to let me know the box was on sale. They're moving one unit per minute so everyone better jump on this...

Got mine in too, and agreed. The pleasure of doing business with Dennis and co. makes the price point doable. It's a small label with big passion and lots of care. And for anyone on the fence, the presentation quality of the first set of transfers was easily on par with any label's best work.

I got my first set from Propaganda, my second from Milestone 29 minutes after the announcement. (My hands were shaking, which is kind of pathetic.)
I love Milestone (Bodhi-Dharma! Come Back Africa! amazing people!) and I love these sets, but in the era of Kickstarter and crowdfunding, can one not take preorders? The demand is surely there.
I have half a month's rent I want to give you for set three! Please take it. Please.

There's probably enough demand that preorders would oversell.

Just ordered my Volume 2 set from Milestone. The first set I got from Propaganda as well. I believe Set 3 is due to come out in October.

Any word on if the new set fixes the packaging problems that were present in Vol 1?

From the picture it looks like the design is the same. Though if they stuffed the hollow space with styrofoam or something it would go a long way.
P.S. My set just shipped. \:D/
And also, there are now only 100 left. These will all be gone in a few more hours.

I haven't had time to even open my copy yet -- that's late tonight after we finish as much shipping as we can. But I just talked to DI Factory and he said the insert is much stronger. Sorry, but I'll be unavailable for a few days on this forum from here on....

Mine just shipped as well. Props for a smooth release and ridiculously prompt shipping with such a small team!
I'm still a bit confused by all the extra space in the packaging (I was under the mistaken impression that the first box would fit all the future releases) but I'm sure it'll make more sense when I see it.
