Is Fat Girl an amazing seller that just seems to get no reception on this board? A personal staff favorite? Something easily upgraded to make 7 releases this month? A gesture to Briellat to maintain a healthy business relationship?

If this were the case, they should've just released Police like MoC.

They really are taking the piss with these Chaplin covers. I dread to think what they'll do to my beloved City Lights.

I quite like the Diabolique cover though Arrow's original poster art still shades it (the AV comparison should be quite interesting) and they picked a nice still for Solaris (not too keen on the font, however). Pale Flower is the one standout this month for me.

George Washington would be one of the most mind blowing Blu upgrades, don't rub salt into one of the worst, bottom of the barrel films in the collection getting the call!

"George Washington" on Blu would shake heads, but for a server-melting freakout nothing would top a "Border Radio" or "Hopscotch" BD announcement. It would become this website's 'cats and dogs living together' mass hysteria moment de jour.

I think Fat Girl is on that level for many members... and shakes more heads than George Washington.

They are exhibiting their feminist side, first Sweetie and then Fat Girl, i am hoping for a blu upgrade of Cleo From 5 to 7 next month!

Why do they stubbornly insist on doing movies that aren't An Angel at My Table, dammit

this actually makes more sense than anything. Why should female directors sit quietly in their proper place at the back of the line, in the corner, behind all the old, dead white fellows?

They need to lower their prices on almost barebone blu-rays, they can't be asking $25-28 for Something Wild on release date!

Wow, I've seen this film and still had no idea that it was already in the collection. I'm ashamed.

Actually, Arcade Fire is the name of the Suburbs' new album. My friend just corrected me on that as well.

Mind-blowing here is a good thing: George Washington is a beautiful-looking film. Fat Girl is an abomination

Any chance Criterion is upgrading to Blu some of their worst selling titles?
