Yes, there had been a few criticisms about subtitles, but otherwise people were very positive.

Maybe MisterLime drama can get the thread of its own? I'm sure it's not the last time he offends someone again...

Whoa, so Criterion actually sat on it so long that the rights relapsed! At least someone's finally putting it out

That attempt at Victor Mature's likeness is making it look like a "hag horror" movie.

Scott noticed a few errors... and asked me to send you these corrections:
Pitfall is not a Ignite title - should be under other studios
The Pit and
They're Playing with Fire are Lakeshore titles - so is
Star Crystal
Legend of Hillbilly John is part of Worldwide Entertainment, not Lakeshore.
When Eight Bells Toll and
Face to Face are missing, add them to "other studios".
Missing from the MGM list are:
Black Sabbath (AIP version),
Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw and
F.I.S.T.

Interesting. Can we expect a rash of the Fox Noir titles that Twilight Time hasn't licensed? Hopefully Somewhere in the Night is coming soon.

Thanks - Updated the list with September dates.
Somewhere in the Night is getting a blu-ray release in France from Rimini Editions in May. Kino won't beat it, but I hope it's announced before that streets.

Hollywood Classics doesn't really own any movies of their own; they represent studios, etc. and handle things like non-theatrical bookings or, in some cases--like this--home video licensing. Their website:

I guess they will use the same HD master used in France by Sidonis which was rather good.

Also Richard Lester's
Finders Keepers. \:D/ The movie is lots of fun, and the only feature Lester did that never even made it to DVD. It's also a "Brand New 2016 Master", according to the always polite Kino Insider Mr. Lime.
