This is a real classy cover. Who's the guy on the left with the weird nose? Why is Sarah Michelle Geller doing a Buffy pose?

Is it really necessary to have Seann William Scott on the cover twice? Isn't Justin Timberlake in this thing? You would think the studio would just throw his face on the cover to at least move a units.
As for SMG - she only really has two poses: "Buffy" and "Asian horror film remake".

yeah... and where's John Lovitz?
the difference between SMG's two poses are the 'intensity' of her stare.

I'm just upset that nobody had the good sense to release a '30th Anniversary Edition' of Logan's Run back in 2006!

I'm familiar with Michael York, but I had no idea Stars In, The Trendsetting, and Sci-Fi Tale also starred in the film!

They were waiting for the Bryan Singer remake that never happened.
Seriously.

I think we can finally declare a winner for worst transition from poster to DVD cover:

'Cause sharp means smart, and these guys aren't that. They're as smart as idiots. Idiots aren't smart, and neither are they! They're dumb. Dum-dum. Marbles. Dumb.

Are those names at the top supposed to register with anyone reading the DVD box?

What the heck is a "video", and why is there a store for them?
More horror:

Either someone has been too liberal with the "Androgyny" photoshop tool, or I really need to rent
Hairspray.

I love that the size of the heads that they pasted onto those bodies is way too small. The fuck is wrong with studios

Aw man, that comment about Sharp as Marbles reminds me of this terrible project I worked on few years ago. It was this terrible movie that happened to have a number of big-ish actors in supporting roles. Not only were we obligated contractually to fit SEVEN actors names at the top of the box, the director kept holding up approval of the cover art because he didn't like the size of his name. He'd never directed anything before! Finally I had to sit him down and explain to him that most director credits are really rather small, particularly if they weren't being used as a selling point...

I like the way the feet seem to look like bunny ears in the Girls (Just?) Want To Have Fun Cover - and how did Barbara Streisand manage to get herself into the top right corner of the 100 Girls one? (I'd hate to see what the other 95 girls that were rejected for the cover looked like)

I'd like to imagine there was a panic on the set during the photo shoot - "What do you mean all the actresses walked off the set? Right, Jeff, you have that rock star style long curly hair. I'm afraid you are going to have to get into that white swimsuit and hold up this photo of Sarah Jessica Parker in front of your face. Trust me, it'll work! Look at how well Mike and Bob are doing!"
