Last week we announced the werewolf film Bad Moon and now we have even more to howl in joy about: 1973’s long-lost THE BOY WHO CRIED WEREWOLF will be making its home video debut on the Blu-ray format on July 26th and will sport a brand-new HD transfer! Pre-order begins on our site first @ https://www.shoutfactory.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;…/f…/the-boy-who-cried-werewolf
Synopsis: Richie Bridgestone’s parents are getting a divorce, but that’s the least of his problems at the moment. Richie is hoping his parents will reconsider and on a visit to his father ’s secluded cabin, he witnesses his dad being attacked by a werewolf. Much like the tale of the boy who cried wolf, no one in the town will believe Richie’s claims that his father will change into a werewolf at the next full moon.
This was the third and final pairing of actor Kerwin Matthews and cult filmmaker Nathan Juran (Attack of the 50 Foot Woman, The Brain from Planet Arous). The two had also worked together on the classic 7th Voyage of Sinbad and Jack the Giant Killer.

Wasn't it already confirmed to be the old one? At least I swore I read that from Shout! somewhere. Going by a few of their recent Universal titles (like Death Becomes Her) they're just reusing old masters.perkizitore wrote:I hope Midnight Run utilises a fresh transfer rather than the outdated one found on the European blu-rays!
Shout! Select's traditionally the line they have for releases ONLY available directly from Shout! Factory, though given the titles you mentioned Chris, it seems unlikely they'd restrict their sales on these so much; and their previous releases haven't been weighed down by spine numbers either.cdnchris wrote:Looks like it's part of a new line called "Shout Select," which has (wait for it) spine numbers. Also includes Carpenter's Elvis and Midnight Run.
I have to admit that this film has always been a guilty pleasure for me and this is much-welcomed news to include the TV version even though the TV version is not as enjoyable for me.AfterTheRain wrote:Updates on the Two-Minute Warning and Rollercoaster blu-rays:
Two-Minute Warning has a new interview with director Larry Peerce and the TV version of the movie included along with the trailer, radio spots, and still gallery.
**NEW TITLE ANNOUNCE to Celebrate Our 4-Year Anniversary!**
