Before Midnight is the most likely source, but she also directed Greece's Oscar submission for this year, Chevalier, which is pretty good; wouldn't mind seeing Criterion release it.
She was also an actress in Slacker, credited as "Rachel Reinhardt."

Also, I missed Jed Harris and Rosalind Russell, so His Girl Friday also might be in the offing.

I think so. It can pretty much be confirmed by going to the bottom of the page for
Roma, selecting Spine #849, and reading the URL.

Er, are we actually going to get the announcements on the 14th then? The Quarantined Guessing thread hasn't even reopened!

With the launch of Filmstruck next week they probably want to get this out of the way.

Dick Clement? My only thought was The Commitments, but it got an anniversary Blu-ray in August.

Maybe Villain (Michael Tuchner, 1971) with Richard Burton? Previously a Warner Archive release.

re: Dick Clement
Phantom pages seem to be for directorial efforts; which would leave me to think that it's either Water or Bullshot produced by Handmade Films. Criterion reissued Time Bandits like two years ago...but haven't put out anything since. They do have the library available for streaming. I'm sort of surprised they haven't at the very least reissued some of the out of print titles after reissuing Time Bandits.

it could be for Clement and La Franais' Iris Murdoch adaptation A Severed Head, which was a Sony burn-on-demand disc.

Clement and La Frenais did do a dialogue polish at Connery's request on The Rock...

It seems we are getting WCP Vol. 2 sooner rather than later. Or is a Southeast Asia themed box set a possibility?

He goes by Joe, and his inclusion to Criterion is most welcome! Curious which film it is (I'm hoping for Syndromes and a Century)

Mysterious Object at Noon is the WCP film, but given the fact of a Second Run release I'd *assume* Criterion would pass for now (as, though I'm sure they'd be able to do something interesting extras-wise, it's a flawed release for reasons Second Run could do nothing about and I don't imagine even Criterion could make a better solution in the interim).

Why? Second Run doesn't control the market on this film.

Based on precedent, it's safe to assume there will be at least a major Region A and B release of the WCP films. To reiterate the point MichaelB makes when some lament the same release across multiple labels: when a film gets a major restoration, it's going to get several releases which (I assume?) help to some degree cover the cost of that restoration.

I just generally have the impression that a Second Run release is an indication of no immediate plans for competing releases anywhere, as I certainly can't think of an instance in SR's history that a title was released by another label within just a year or two.

Alright, I was wrong there with a particularly notable recent example of exactly that. It does still seem strange to me that Second Run was able to keep their release region-free if Criterion was potentially involved, but I can't imagine it not being for a WCP film if it went up at the same time as Brocka and that's the only one that we know of (and, truth be told, I'm kind of surprised to realize he's not yet had a release from Criterion).

Judging by
