The position of Red River changed. It now appears at the bottom of the "Coming Soon" list on their website, so someone must be updating the page momentarily.

I'm pretty sure I've seen the order change at times completely unrelated to new announcements.

It's going to receive a later DVD-only release, like "A Brief History of Time".

Criterion, uh, there are actually, uh, new release announcements on your New Release Announcement Day, right?

The longer the announcement delay the less time I have wait to buy them.

They're definitely doing something with the coming soon page. A few of the title orders got shuffled around from the positions just half an hour ago (i.e. Red River is now down at the bottom).

I was just about to complain about the weak features this month, but damn, that Demy set is a thing of beauty.

Too bad it's already been released in R1 and is in print.

What does the announcement of the Demy set mean for the Tati box? Will it be end of the year?

Probably November for Tati now.

Very good month, although I am still wondering why Criterion did not choose to release Scanners and The Brood as a sort of back-to-back duo. (I now assume we will not see The Brood until October.)

I'm new to the forum. I'm excited about some of these releases as a long time Criterion Collector but I will say this:
Why has there not been a release of Husbands and Love Streams by John Cassavetes? Makes absolutely zero sense to me.
There is a Cassavetes documentary, a few versions of missing clips from Husbands, Love Streams is only available in an imported format and was his last real film. It just makes sense to release this films. And there is a demand for them. I have Love Streams and I'm almost not Crazy on VHS...but, they are extremely fragile now.
Five Films changed the way I watched cinema. These two missing gems are crucial to the collection.

A Slightly Pregnant Man is credited to Janus/Criterion. Interesting to see what will become of it.

Love Streams is likely forthcoming, assuming the newsletter hint from a few months ago was guessed properly.
Husbands could have a rights issue preventing Criterion from releasing it.

Is Husbands still with Sony? I seem to remember them releasing it on DVD at one point.

Not in print, but is Sony.
