Strangely the Brady Bunch movie is tempting... Pissed about never picking up Parallax View when I saw it cheap. Ugh, and 3 Days of the Condor. Goddammit! I assumed since there was a Studio Canal Blu-ray we'd be getting it on the format here. Maybe Lionsgate at some point...
Maybe, maybe not wrt 3 Days Of The Condor. I think the blu is out of print. There are several blu-ray titles that made out of print status a while back, not certain if that means they won't be back at some point, but I think they are slowly trickling out of stock as well as being out of print. Back in February I noticed Indecent Proposal was permanently out of stock at amazon, so grabbed it fairly cheaply from one of the stores (which now is selling it for twice as much)), and is not readily available in all that many places these days.
Fwiw, the list of OOP Paramount Blu-Rays (based on the OOP lists that appear on DVD Talk) is/are/were (and do with it what you will (ignore/pick up the one(s) you really want now/sit it out/convert your last few hd-dvds to blu-ray while it's still possible/etc)):
3 Days Of The Condor, Arctic Tale, Black Rain, Black Snake Moan, Changing Lanes, Clear And Present Danger, Coach Carter, Days Of Thunder, Election, Face/Off, Fatal Attraction, Hot Rod, Indecent Proposal, Into The Wild, Last Holiday, Last Kiss, Manchurian Candidate, Mighty Heart, Nacho Libre, Patriot Games, Payback, Paycheck, Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow, Sum Of All Fears, U2: Rattle And Hum, Zodiac

The lists at DVD Talk are the same as what's available on the Big DVD List at Michael's Movie Mayhem that I linked to a couple pages back. You really want to verify these first by checking that site to see if there's another available edition of the same title with a different barcode or different packaging. That's the case at least with Zodiac. It's not actually out of print. I didn't check the others in your list.

You're right, but I will say this: That's what happened with a lot of these Paramount DVDs back in October when a bunch of Paramounts were listed as OOP. Someone at DVDTalk said "But only one of the barcodes, don't panic" and then sure enough, as we can see, soon enough the title itself was gone

Thanks, I'll check into that. Actually just did, so still OOP blu-rays (from my initial list) are:
3 Days Of The Condor, Arctic Tale, Black Snake Moan, Coach Carter, Days Of Thunder, Election, Face/Off, Hot Rod, Into The Wild, Last Holiday, Mighty Heart, Nacho Libre, Patriot Games, Payback, Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow, Sum Of All Fears, U2: Rattle And Hum
and (edit: allegedly) back in print are:
Black Rain, Changing Lanes, Clear And Present Danger, Fatal Attraction, Indecent Proposal, Last Kiss, Manchurian Candidate, Paycheck, Zodiac
Perhaps they get reprinted as supplies dwindle. And/or perhaps not.
Thanks for the pointer.
edit: Noticed that a number of the allegedly back in print OOP DVDs aren't readily available either, so big grain of salt, not sure that website is batting a thousand wrt exactly what's in print and what's not. Also, a few DVDs are coming out in newer versions, so who knows what Paramount has in mind with any of these. Kinda wish Pootie Tang was still selling cheaply (my preference is for 'new')... guess I'll wait for the blu-ray. Or import...

It's All True is also OOP. What are the chances of Criterion picking this up? If they had the access to include all the remaining footage, what a phenomenal edition it would be.
The real shitty thing for me is I only have ten Paramounts, if you include the criterions and disclude the universals, so I'm having a real nasty time with this. Managed to get 7 Men From Now and The Detective Story so far, but hell. Doubt I can get even a reasonable percentage now.
Also like Domino said no way am I selling things ever again, even if I absolutely dislike the film.
Harold & Maude and Hud would HAVE to be re-released, right?
No Way to Treat a Lady is a sad one...i'm not going to find that in any story, and it's one of those that's been sitting in my wishlist for years, but never enough of a priority to push it into the cart. fuck.

That's one that is still available new from Amazon, though. Admittedly at $13 it's not discounted much.
For those looking for a good deal/have Amazon Prime, Wyler's Carrie with Olivier and Jennifer Jones is fulfilled by Amazon new for $7.99. I just got my copy and was shocked to see that it contains a previously-censored scene that was apparently enough to push the disc into an 18-A rating in Canada. Not bad for a 1952 studio picture, Wyler!
Also, it was pretty absurd to walk into the UPS store and pick up the thirteen different packages that arrived to my mailbox today. One of the clerks said I have my own shelf in the back
So when there was little interest when in print at low prices, there were low sales.
Just say the words "Out Of Print", amazon sellers mark up the prices to $60, and huge sales!
(What if Paramount did this on purpose to increase sales???)
Good Burger is OOP... I know what everyone is thinking or hoping...
I sold my copy of Good Burger only a couple of months ago for a grand total of about $2. SIGH. I just bought a "Like New" copy from a will-not-be-named-until-it's-shipped store for less than $10 including shipping, and I just hope against hope that it ships. This is a piece of childhood nostalgia that I never dreamed wouldn't be available to me, but now that it's climbing up to $20+ per copy, I need one to call my own. Again: SIGH
found a copy of the Centennial Man Who Shot Liberty Valance at Target today for $7.50 so grabbed that...been meaning to anyway and it was a no brainer at that price. It's a shame they gave up on that line so quickly....it was over almost before it started. very weird.
Has there been any kind of change at the top of Paramount? maybe some executive came in and said "why are we wasting money on these old movies?!/!??!"
Am I imagining things when thinking that the Centennial titles were supposed to also be blu ray releases? wasn't that the original announcement? I find it very hard to believe titles like Liberty Valance, Sunset Boulevard, Funny Face, Chinatown, Odd Couple, and El Dorado would remain out of print and NOT end up on blu ray....they're pretty much the tentpoles of their classics! I have the pre-Centennial Chinatown release I snagged at a Big Lots for $3...but sold my copies of Sunset Boulevard and a few other paramounts like Nashville a couple of years ago. never got around to picking them back up as I meant to either.
Okay, so since I last posted I've ordered 4 copies of Good Burger - one like new copy, two brand new copies, and one brand new copy on backorder. So I'm just as guilty as anyone else of gobbling this up to resell it. Move along. I am just as bad as Mondo Burger themselves
This is all happening so much sooner than I could have expected. When major studios are putting out BDs at a rate of about 1 per week, it's not the time to zero out the old format yet.
Look, be glad it's Paramount. Wait til MGM stops dribbling its OOPs and deluges ala Paramount. You think this broke the bank? Try dealing with thousands of suddenly unavailable titles. This Paramount discord is upsetting as much in the implications as in the immediate effect
Burned through a $100 like that at Barnes and Noble tonight. The best find was Clue, a movie I'd forgotten about until tonight. I haven't seen it in eight or ten years, and I can't wait to watch it again.
I spoke to one of the cashiers who I'm friendly with there, and she did me a favor by searching their warehouse inventory for some of the titles that haven't been made unavailable yet. Notably, she said that they would normally have 1,000 copies of the Zodiac BD in their warehouse, but now they only have 170. Not a good sign.
