I'm only a six-footer, but I have to get the XXXL because nothing else will fit these guns.

I'm glad I didn't have a mouthful of coffee, or I would have had to replace my keyboard. Now we know what you've been doing with all your newfound free time.

I'll say. He's ambidextrous, don't you know?

I tried to order and have it shipped to a colleague of mine in the US, but that's not possible either, as the billing address or even Paypal account has to be within the US.
A very narrow minded attitude towards their faithful non-US customers, which totally sucks.

The Criterion myspace says there's a new store coming soon. Currently, discontinued t-shirts are only $10 and all other shirts and hats are $2 off.

I already have a Janus Films shirt and a Criterion shirt and cap - what I'd REALLY like is Janus hoodie.

Wow. Had no idea they did that. Is every company doing this now? I know Killer Films has one, too...

There's been a thread about it here for over a year.

no one? 5$ extra for your troubles?

shit... olive Janus is out of stock now. fuckin no int'l shipping...

Criterion is now selling the Monterey Pop DVD's at 25% off through their Store, and While that's not a deal considering the sales on right now, it's interesting that they have started selling their dvd's directly. If the new store ships to canada for a reasonable amount, I'm willing to pay a bit extra to buy directly from Criterion.

Isn't it, I dunno, two years early to be celebrating the 40th anniversary of an event that took place in 1969? Or did I wake up from a two-year coma this morning without anyone mentioning it?

Monterey Pop took place in June 1967. Sorry, you'll have to pick something else to be snide about. Maybe if Criterion ever releases Woodstock?

Well fuck me, then. My deepest apologies for the transgression. Apparently I can't keep Monterey Pop and Woodstock straight.

Hahaha, that Ozu shirt gave me a good laugh, I have a picture in my head of a guy with a mullet and Whitesnake tattoo rocking out to Equinox Flower.

The Ozu and Tarr are real cool. The Von Trier is a tad too Skynard for me.

Yeah, Cinefile has been selling these for a couple of years.

Too bad everyone that works at Cinefile are still a bunch of pricks (except the owner). Amoeba records in Los Angeles also sells these.

The Tarr one is so overpriced. It'd be so worth it, though. I don't know which I like better: Herzog or Fassbinder.

Now, you know that's the Van Halen logo, right?

Von Trier/Van Halen
Ozu/Ozzy
Bela Tarr/Black Flag
Herzog/Danzig
Scorsese/Scorpions
Fassbinder/Metallica
De Palma/Def Leppard
Ingmar Bergman/Iron Maiden

I've had the Bergman for quite a while.

Van Halen? That may be why I don't like that shirt.
