The transfer isn't exactly demo worthy material but it looks very good. Close ups looks beautiful in some scenes. IMO, this easily worthy of an upgrade if all you had was the Criterion. Also, the package comes with a sticker on it claiming it's "Future Proof" because it includes the DVD version. So, you're disc is protected from that dreaded future.
