There's a Gina Gershon shot- is Bound a possibility?

I wouldn't be surprised if Lancaster indicates the original Siodmak version of The Killers.

Videodrome's the likely Cronenberg, no? Hope the Rosi is something Criterion hasn't already done (though Salvatore Giuliano in HD is something I can't see coming from CC anytime soon, and would therefore be welcome in that regard).

I think MichaelB or Francesco Simeoni said a few months ago that Arrow tried to get Videodrome but Universal said no.

Here's hoping they came around. I would normally oppose duplication of titles with Criterion, but I'd be interested to see what new features Arrow might be able to cook up in this case.

Can't wait––CANT'T WAIT--for the Stray Cat Rock films. But I was surprised to see Seijun Suzuki in there, too. I wonder what they'll be releasing of his?

I'd personally be hoping for
Shivers and
Rabid. Two great films dying for more attention than they've been given.
The Burt Lancaster clue could be for
The Swimmer, given
Grindhouse Releasing's recent release, though I too would love it to be for
The Train.

Wouldn't The Dead Zone be a likely Cronenberg candidate?

I've understood The Swimmer is from Sony, which doesn't licence in the UK.

I could obviously be wrong, but all this talk of knowns and unknowns in the background could also be a hint for, well, Errol Morris'
The Unknown Known (2013), which was
announced just today in the US by Anchor Bay.

It's
being released by Dogwoof

Shivers or Rabid (or The Dead Zone) would be great; Videodrome just seems more likely to me given how much Arrow has been releasing from Universal lately. As noted above, though, MichaelB did suggest fairly recently that Universal turned them down for that particular title, so it's anybody's guess.

The Lancaster clue could be for an The Train. The TT USA edition is getting released in June. So, probably MGM is leasing it out to Arrow for the UK market.

I wonder about Brute Force, given that Arrow have the UK DVD rights, there's a German blu-ray and the image is of a young Lancaster.

I never bothered with a steel book before, but that Shivers art goes a long way to help me reconsider.

and here I was just blindly hoping for Shivers (& Rabid [-o< ) to be part of the announcement. Fantastic, couldn't've happened with a better company!

Forgive me if this has already been named and shot down elsewhere in this thread, but as it's a Fox title available to license for DVD/BD, what are the odds of Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls getting the Arrow treatment? It would more than make up for the other Meyers going OOP, and The Seven Minutes could even pop up as an extra!

My understanding is that this isn't a possibility right now.

Was there ever any talk of Arrow releasing the Bruce Lee films in UK? I am talking about the films released by Shout in USA in their Legacy Collection - Big Boss / Fist of Fury / Way of the Dragon / Game of Death. I know there are sets available in France, Japan, Hong Kong, and Spain, but nothing in UK, which could be more English friendly. These films look perfect for Arrow. Can somebody provide me with any information (or rumor)? Thanks.

Except if they can get hold of real HD material, Arrow should either deem them as "not up technically to their standard" or be prepared for a customer backlash due to lackluster presentations.
And since both Shout and HK Video only released these lackluster presentations, I don't see anyone in the UK being able to fare better.
