Yep, those are the only two important releases Criterion's put out

Surely Spïnal Täp must be even more important. After all, it's the only Criterion with a double-sided disc!

Even worse than the original blu cardboard packaging.

Before we all get too caught up in our schadenfreude, we should keep in mind that this will probably be Criterion's go-to packaging for deluxe releases of good films too.

Anything with 5 discs at least... Some movies aren't important enough for 2 Blu-Rays like Persona.

Some movies don't overstay their welcome by an hour or more, like IAMMMMW ...

I actually did XXX at it.

I'm actually disappointed. I don't have it in hand yet but it looks fairly cheap based on the photos. I was figuring it would be along the lines of Shoah, except with two overlapping holders and a single one for the discs.

Otherwise I do like the artwork.

But nobody's going to be actually taking those discs out of their slots, right? So what's the problem?
