There was supposed to be a two-tiered one this month, one at the beginning to get the pre-orders up there and one for the normal deals and specials listing.

I got this message from Kevin in MoC (in response to a question about buying Tabu and the Naruse set):
I'll be adding these to the sale pages at the start of the year. Tabu is currently out of stock and not expected until December 29th, so I cannot add it until then.

I spotted some bargains on Play.com, most notably:

Kwaidan and Devil & Daniel Webster @ £4.49 each
Il Grido and Punishment Park @ £6.69 each
Shoah @ £16.99

Not sure if I'm supposed to put links here, but you can find them easy enough with a search on the site. I suspect they won't stay at these prices for long.

Good about Tabu, guess it is selling slightly.

So TABU will have its fat spine ditched?

Both EDVARD MUNCH and TABU lose their fat spines next month when they're repressed. I redesigned the sleeves for normal Amarays earlier this month. There are now zero fat spines in the MoC Series, and good riddance to them! (awful plastic that shattered when cold).

Yep, I got three fat spines (Tabu, Edward Munch and Sanso) and they were all shattered when they arrived.

Would love a skinny Tabu, but I'd love it on Blu even more!

Hi Nick. Some years ago I posted you and said that those double thick keep cases are just waste of space. And that they break easily and one cannot find a replacement. You very politely told me to fuck myself. Well I was right as rain.

Nick, any chance the redesigned sleeves could be put online as pdfs for those of us who would like to swap our fat spines for normal cases?

I think it might be best for Eureka to send out a new sleeve in a clear Amaray to anyone who mails in a fat spined sleeve (no need to send the box). I'll have to check with Eureka though, I can't imagine there'll be that many to deal with.

I'd like an explanation of that as well. Hopefully it's just an error.

Wow, the year just started and I'm already broke.

When exactly does this price blitz ends? Will it last until end of Monday?

I'm pretty sure TABU and LA GUEULE OUVERTE won't come to blu anytime soon, but I have a slight hesitation about buying IL GRIDO in light of all the Antonioni movies that will be released in high def by MoC. On the other hand, at that price, it wouldn't be that great a loss anyway...

I want Rocco and his Brothers, and if I still have money left over, i'll take Toni too :P
