High & Low on Blu! Upgrade of the year for me as this is my fave Kurosawa! Now here's hoping they fixed the blown out whites of the reissue...
I like the new Belle & La Bete cover.

I have to agree on Music Room, terrible cover for such a wonderful film.

Isn't that one of the enemies from Space Invaders on the Music Room cover?

Hm, the bar on the left is weird. And I'm really pissed that we aren't getting Happiness.

Best cover since
The Magician.
Personally, I still prefer the green tinting of the DVD re-release, but it's still excellent.

Really like Leon Morin, Priest and The Music Room (the cover is highlighting the significant presence of the chandelier in the film). The High and Low reissue cover has always been good. Beauty and the Beast is great (but then every frame of that film could produce a good cover and, with all the various covers they've gone through, it seems as if Criterion is setting out to prove this!) Life In Wartime is OK. Naked is atrocious.

Do Naked and Beauty and the Beast represent the first significant cover art changes for Blu-only re-releases?

If they're redoing the covers for Beauty and the Beast and Naked then I assume they're also changing the content / upgrading the DVD editions?
And I don't care what the Music Room cover looks like, as long as it comes out. Maybe you turn the chandelier upside down and see a face?

They've since changed the Leopard DVD to match the blu, but it was significantly different when released.
