Surely coming eventually, but not at the same time as these two. La promesse and Rosetta are chronologically sequential, and make sense as paired spines. I imagine that Criterion has elected to release The Kid with a Bike, but I'm not looking for it until early 2013.

I think we will be getting a blu upgrade of Kinoshita's Twenty-four Eyes soon-ish along with a no-frills release of Boyhood. Both have had artwork strongly resembling actual cover art up recently on Hulu. The art for Boyhood has been taken down now, but Twenty-four Eyes is still up (but can only be seen through a streaming device though...)

Well if Twenty-Four Eyes gets upgraded, we'll probably get a Kinoshita eclipse set in the same month.

Not actually owned by Fox, they're an independent company. They handle non-theatrical distribution for several studios and theatrical repertory for Fox.

What I want most of all is an upgrade for In The Name of Love. Do we know if Criterion has the rights to the Blu edition? It would seem to be such a no-brainer for Blu that I have to wonder what the hold up is.

I'm dying to see it on blu-ray... (I think it's planned to be released in France on blu-ray via TF1/Ocean but nothing has been officially announced yet... And TF1 means forced subtitles... (but their DVD edition was pretty good, more accurate than the Criterion edition for the colors... just IMHO)

Hoping for some Italian films this round- Pasolini, Rossellini, or Antonioni..

I will also predict the absence of The Game, Wild Strawberries, & Y Tu Mama Tambien, since those are guessed every month and never show.

Titles are announced usually between 5-7 eastern time on the 15th.

Anyone one else miss the old method of just randomly sometime after the first title for the month was released? It was more exciting just to blindly stumble across new releases without any clues, instead of now when their site gets flooded and error pagers are abundant.

Yes, at one point and some of them never made it, still. The catalogs taught them to set up the system they have now because some of the "coming soon" in catalogs never happened or took a few years. Howards End was in an earlier catalog.
