Is there any weight to criterion possibly releasing Twin Peaks the return or is it pure speculation?

Speculation. People think it's dumb for Criterion to release FWWM independant from the series. Because it is.

Not that I can really deny the fundamental dumbness of releasing it separate of the show, but until The Return, Fire Walk With Me was the only piece of Twin Peaks I had watched beyond the first two episodes. So maybe my Black Lodge doppelganger was the one to convince Criterion to release it this way.

With so many people guessing Night of the Living Dead for Today's announcement's it's going to be bittersweet if true considering
George Romero's passing.

Upgrade: Probably something horror-themed, like Silence Of The Lambs, but I'm wishing for La Strada or Mishima.

As for Mishima isn't that sort of a joke at this point? It being upgraded?
