Trailer for Bad Milo-- Ken Marino, Gillian Jacobs, Toby Huss, Stephen Root, Peter Stormare and more star in an actual movie about a monster living in Ken Marino's ass. Uh... uh...

Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa
I can imagine this going stale pretty quickly into its runtime, but the trailer is pretty hilarious in the
Borat/
Bruno tradition of loose fictional narratives woven in with actual public reactions.

Saw a screener of this a couple of months ago. It's a one-joke film that stretches its premise very thin indeed, but I will say this - Marino is excellent in it.

The Zero Theorem
Looks fantastic. I suspect it's too eclectic and strange to get a wide release. Will probably land at a small label. I'm hoping it's IFC (for obvious reasons)

Coming to theaters this weekend in Japan is Studio Ghibli's latest, and Isao Takahata's first feature film in 14 years,
The Story Of Princess Kaguya
It also happens to be Studio Ghibli's longest movie to date, with the most number of storyboards made in their company's history.
It's also their longest to be in production, 8 years since the announcement, and the most expensive in Ghibli's works, a cost of $50 million, way surpassing the cost of Ponyo's $34 million, and the supposed Guinness Record Holder for most expensive anime film, "Steamboy"
I've been more excited to see this one, even more than "The Wind Rises" this year.

Dawn of the POTA looks like it has a lot of potential; like the red war-paint on Caesar...it may very well be my favorite film of 2014 (Rise of the POTA was my favorite film of 2011).

Trailer for James Franco's adaptation of Cormac Mccarthy's book
Child of God. The trailer makes it look like a run-of-the-mill extreme horror film, but then a faithful adaptation of the book could easily be made into a trailer like that, so it doesn't tell me much. Looks nicely shot, anyway.

This could be considered spam but Bill Mantlos, a comic artist that was heavily involved with GotG, has been
in need of healthcare related funds since a traumatic 1992 car accident. When I first saw that this film was in development, I thought it might be good exposure for this need.
