Poster and still shots released today. They got rid of the weak link (Terrence Howard) and added a Mickey Rourke. Hopefully, this is as much fun as the first one.

And unfortunately they added Scarlett.
Otherwise, I'm excited about this film as the first one was my favorite popcorn movie of 08.

Completely, completely wrong for this role. Not the disaster that Dunst was as Mary Jane Watson, but every bit as bad as Alba playing Sue Storm.
I'm off to gaze wistfully at the images of Emily Blunt and contemplate What Might Have Been.

What do you mean? She looks so hot with that hair color!

Definitely hot. Still not right for that role.
Actually, she would have been a good Mary Jane.

Agreed. And I also think Terrance Howard was great as the Major. I think Cheadle is a good fill in but I prefer Howard if only for the continuity.

I agree with the horrible miscasting of Scarlett as Black Widow. Emily Blunt should have been the Widow.

Saw this yesterday and although the film is a little uneven it was still entertaining and everyone in it gave good performance. Now I'm looking forward the rest of the Avengers films.

Saw this today, and felt much of what dx23 has already said. I've not seen the first one, so it felt a little strange to see the sequel first. Nice seeing Garry Shandling as the frumpy senator, the tit-for-tat between him and Robert was quite good.
