Sara Driver retrospective, NYC, March 2012

Anthology Film Archives is showing all of Sara Driver's films, beginning this Friday. All of them have been long out-of-print and championed by various filmmakers and critics, including Jonathan Rosenbaum.

Sleepwalk is one of the great films of the 1980s. And it's written by Kathleen Brennan (aka. Mrs. Tom Waits), proving that her husband alone isn't responsible for all the esoteric weirdness on their albums.

FWIW, she's going to be at a couple of screenings, and for the features, they're screening 35mm prints too.

You buried the real lead for those us outside New York.
The Anthology series, Sleepwalking: The Films of Sara Driver, coincides with the release of a DVD boxed set of her work (from Films We Like and New Video)
This is the first link I've been able to find.
