Sweet Jesus, that's awful. I saw this for the first time not too long ago at MoMA, and I was set on buying it until I saw this. Totally destroys Coutard's work, the grain was part of the appeal, especially in those diffuse but grainy shots in the bedroom that looked like they were lit with only natural light from the windows. It looks like cheap video now.
