Too early for November 2013 predictions?

I'm thinking they blow their load and make November a HUGE month!

Nashville (Altman)
Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean (Altman)
Frances Ha (Baumbach)
Barton Fink (Coen & Coen)
Y tu mamá también (Cuarón)
Eraserhead (Lynch)
Tokyo Story (Ozu) Reissue

It's probably a bit early for Nashville (probably January or February), but I really like the idea of pairing Jimmy Dean (another Paramount property) with it. The others from your list all actually seem completely plausible. Can't imagine that they'll fit all of those, the Cronenbergs, Mad World, The Kid, and MegaZatoichi into the last two months of 2012. Something's got to give, but I don't see any way that both months aren't chock full of exciting releases with something for everybody.

I agree with Moe Dickson because he seems to be some sort of shill or Mulvaney's nephew or something.

I just threw on one of my favorite Elton John tunes "Can You Feel The Love Tonight". Oh sorry, what was it you were saying?

I wasn't trying to offend. It's just funny that you seem to know everything, so I bet on your 'predictions.'

Fair enough, usually "shill" isn't a term of endearment xxx.

I think that we get The Brood and Scanners in a December horror twofer. It makes sense to me after December releases like Branded to Kill/Tokyo Drifter and Videodrome/Cronos. I think The Kid is very likely for 2013, but think the others get pushed to 2014. I would be really surprised if we didn't get Eraserhead, Frances Ha and Barton Fink for November. And we know UCLA did a fantastic restoration of Jimmy Dean and that SOMEONE is releasing a Bluray (as per Mark Patton testifying to recording a commentary track for it,) and given it's a Paramount, Criterion seems like the likeliest of places for it to see the light of day. We did get Qatsi, Rossellini/Bergman and Repo Man a month after their Newsletter clues, and Nashville to me seems like too big a title not to release in November (we also always get a 2 disc Bluray set in this month, (see Heaven's Gate/Fanny and Alexander/Night of the Hunter,) and its probably the only likely 2 disc release.

Guesses for November:

The Kid & A Dog's Life (double feature since they're both "short features")
Eraserhead
Mulholland Dr.
Mad Mad World

Eclipse: Directed by Susan Sontag (this is kind of a boring month to speculate for, so why not toss in something totally random for shits and giggles?)

Picnic at Hanging Rock (BD)

Eraserhead
Mulholland Drive
Madadayyo
Ikiru Blugrade
Picnic at Hanging Rock Upgrade
Passion of Joan of Arc Upgrade

More Early Bergman Eclipse set

I'm just thinking that a lot of the guesses so far are very English heavy; I figured they'd want to do SOME foreign language release, it will have been a couple months since a Japanese release, and somebody said we were overdue for a Kurosawa.

I'm betting on an Eclipse set for sure. There have only been two for this year (I know, I know... SHOAH and Etiax).

So:
Les Blank docs
More Czech-cashing
Another Japanese house-cleaning set (Kinoshita, Naruse, Shinoda, Gosha), a la the Kobayashi
Another Korda house-cleaning set, maybe pulling the Esway, William K. Howard, and Feyder titles together
The second Rossellini set
Here's Some More Fuckin' Bergman For You

Seems to me the sheer mountain of Les Blank material in the 101 Days of Summer makes an Eclipse release a sooner-than-later proposition.

My Predictions:

The Kid
The Freshman
Eraserhead
It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World
Foreign Correspondent
All That Heaven Allows Blu Upgrade
Make Way for Tomorrow Blu Upgrade

My Make Way for Tomorrow prediction is not based on any known clues or inside information. It's just a random guess since there's usually a surprise upgrade.

I agree on an Eclipse & this seems a good bet or perhaps some of the 36 Kinoshita titles that are on Hulu (early? late?), but November also seems like a good time for a high profile blu-ray box & judging by the lack of boxes this year 2 in a month doesn't seem likely, so I'll go with the Doinel set + a dull/predictable lineup:

<strike>Wild Strawberries</strike> Y Tu Mama Tambien
The Soft Skin
Frances Ha
Eraserhead + shorts
Scanners
Casque d'Or
or Danton upgrade
Throne Of Blood or Hidden Fortress upgrade

or my out-of-left-field wish list inspired by my extreme disappointment that Criterion is releasing It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World and not The Trial, a Films-with-numbers-in-the-title-and-based-on-dystopic/dark-novels (as an antidote to IAMMMMW) month:

Slaughterhouse Five
Catch-22
Nineteen eighty-four/1984
Fahrenheit 451
Ikarie XB-1
One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich
The Fourth Man
