Apparently Arrow are releasing Il Generale Della Rovere on DVD in June, i wonder if they are any plans for a blu-ray in the future.
The Criterion DVD cannot be easily improved, so releasing this on Dual Format would vastly improve your sales.

The Italian edition kinda knocked the Criterion out of the water to be honest.

The Italian release preceeded Criterion, are you sure the PQ is better? Anyway, there is a French BD of the film, so i was wondering when we will see an English friendly HD release of the film.

As far as I know, the French Blu-ray looks fantastic. Dual Format release, please, Arrow.

Not my favorite Rossellini but still.... this is great news if you're doing a dual format edition. I can't see Criterion releasing a Blu-ray for a long time.
Any chance of some unavailable with english-subs Rossellini in the future?

Was talking more about the total package.

Il Generale Della Rovere will be DVD only I am afraid. We would love to do more Rossellini but nothing is upcoming for the moment. There is more De Sica however, something we haven't released before (DVD only).

Yes, though not that I can really discuss. Despite that we'd rather pur our energies into other films which are lacking in any release at all in the UK, which we will be focusing on this summer.

Films in the Arrow Academy series or more horror films?
