I thought it would be interesting for forum contributors to suggest their most-wanted Criterion upgrades from DVD to Blu-ray that they would like to see in 2016. Let's say up to six titles per contributor.

Mine would be:

La Strada (Fellini)
Knife In The Water (Polanski)
The Phantom Of Liberty (Bunuel)
The Diary Of A Chambermaid (Bunuel)
Short Cuts (Altman)
The Lady Eve (Sturges)

They lost the rights to those two Bunuels several years ago and no sign yet that they'll be able to get them back -- so you'll have to settle for Viridiana (which I prefer anyway). As far as classic foreign films, Ugetsu is one of the most glaring omissions now that Bicycle Thieves has finally been announced.
