Looks like they stuck in the Manchurian Candidate even though announced.

Yeah, that seems odd, unless it is part of the bigger JFK images- that would go with the rumor of the Robert Drew documentaries and his phantom page!

Could the 3 babies be for The Three Godfathers (John Ford)?

Does the pot of honey next to the grandfather clock directly tie in with "Chimes at Midnight" or is a separate clue for "Taste of Honey" for Tony Richardson? I have to ask since I have never seen Welles' "Chimes."

The Honey is a separate clue. No honey ref in Chimes.

Those look like chrysanthemums growing out of the base of the clock, thus the newly restored + Janus toured - The Story of the Last Chrysanthemum

Is the kid Oliver Twist? Is he holding a golf club? What about the Easy Rider bike?

I think Polan definitely made this clue a hell of a lot easier than last year -probably because we couldn't figure any of those out. Good.

What about the guy blowing the trumpet (yes of course, saxophone) wearing a boxing robe and shoes? Young Man and a Horn, which would explain a Curtiz phantom page.

Fixed :P

Google indicates (typing in boxing + saxophone) that its Here Comes Mr Jordan (which has been confirmed already).

We're on a roll. But I don't think the Three Kings would be for Three Kings could it? What about the angel on the Dr Strangelove bomb? The Fallen Angel?

It's had a Blu-ray release already, but The Big Parade?

Perhaps it's an Exterminating Angel?

The card is not a clue for The Manchurian Candidate. That film makes significant use of the Queen of Diamonds. The card in the clue is the Queen of Hearts.

Honey Pot was released by Kino. The honey is for Tony Richardson's A Taste of Honey.

Clearly for Easy Rider, split off from the BBS set just like Five Easy Pieces. The kid is The Kid, but he's also a Bicycle Thief.

The boxer/saxophone image is, indeed, probably Here Comes Mr. Jordan, but my immediate thought was New York, New York (showing DeNiro as Jake La Motta from Raging Bull but playing the instrument his plays in his previous Scorsese film).

That image of Saturn wouldn't be for The Bling Ring, would it?!

Is that goofy face near the bottom of the motorcycle a character from Jellyfish Eyes 2?

Just rotate the image, it isn't a pelican, it is supposed to be the reverse Queen on the bottom of the playing card.

But if it is a pelican, keeping in with a political theme, let's go with a guess for "All the King's Men."

Lest anyone was worried, the actual newsletter was sent out -and rather than a month clue, its a link to the New Years clue.

Are the babies rolling down the hill?

What are the other JFK Robert Drew documentaries (aside from Primary)?

I don't know why they'd tease Easy Rider being separated from the BBX box (especially since it sounds like thats no longer necessary -as Rhino hasn't forced anything yet).

I will update the forthcoming topic tomorrow.

Of the things remaining, nobody has any solid guesses on the young lad (or is it Oliver Twist + what is he holding? Its like his hand is on the other side of the Easy Rider tire...) + any alternative guesses for the Saturn/planet - Fantastic Planet? + better guess for the Three Kings (WB released it on Blu with quite a lot of bonus content). I also wonder about the Phoenix -as it seems odd to tease the same movie twice in such a short time span (perhaps the Arizona map was pointing to another city, or this is a different bird). Exterminating Angel seems the best answer when combined with Strangelove. Is the guy on the island anyone in particular?

Since the card is the Queen of Hearts and has some bird below it -might it be some version of Alice in Wonderland? The bizarre 30s one with all the cameos?

Just for my reference - when I update the forthcoming topic, here is what we have thus far:

Definite:

Chimes at Midnight
Dr Strangelove
Here Comes Mr Jordan
lone wolf and cub
McCabe and Mrs Miller
Naked Island
New World
Robert Drew documentaries (at least Primary)
Story of the Last Chrysanthemum
Taste of Honey
Whale and the Squid

Best guesses thus far:
Exterminating Angel
Oliver Twist
Phoenix
Saturn 3 / Fantastic Planet
Three Kings

No idea:
Easy Rider bike
Guy on island (unless just part of Naked Island clue)
Queen of Hearts + bird on card
Three babies
Whatever the kid is holding
