Considering that, it couldn't be about Brexit/American Election 2016. Both events, but especially the latter, are generation-defining epic events. I think it is going to be something much smaller. I can't imagine Bong making a film about US partisan politics.

Sure it could - there are smaller stories to be told that center around any larger event
