An early serendipitious tribute to Terence Stamp, who appears here.
This may seem to have a small amount of extras but looking back at my US Warners DVD from its initial release the only extra on that was the deleted scenes (that was also from the era where 'cast biographies' on the disc were also touted as extras too, but that is not particularly necessary these days!). And of course with the extras seemingly being focused on the technical aspects of the shoot, we are probably not going to get anything dealing with the
apparent conflict between Val Kilmer and Tom Sizemore on the set! (Another interesting technical note is that the cinematographer on this is Cronenberg's frequent DP Peter Suschitzky, coming in between his work on eXistenZ and Spider)
This is another one with an important song tied to the film, with the Different Dub remix of a 1980 Police song
When The World Is Running Down (You Can't Do Wrong).

One of two Mars-related films released in 2000, both flopped (the other being DePalma's Mission to Mars).
