Maybe this is old news, but I just noticed that listings for this Silver Bear (2005) winning film have appeared on DDDhouse, and Yesasia, and DVDAsian (Deltamac Hong Kong, R3), with a May 11th release date, supposedly containing english subtitles (though Michael Kerpan indicated in another thread that an edition he came across a few months ago did not contain english subs though it said otherwise.)

According to the listings the film is 142 minutes, IMDB lists the original cut of the film at 244. Here are some reviews of the film from The Hollywood Reporter, Variety, and, um, We Observe The World. An interview with the director in english can be found here, at china.org.
