Can anyone who reads Polish tell me why I can't buy the 10x10 box anymore?

I appreciate it.

The text in the red states that boxset is out of print and the episodes are now in individual sleeves. This also means that the 11th disc and bonus disc is not available to buy.

I think astabe have now phased out the opportunity to buy all 10 episodes/sleeves in one package, so you have to buy them separately and pay more.

I have found another Polish website that has the boxset but im unclear on whether it is the boxset or the collection invidividual episodes. It also looks like its 'on order' but you can still add it to check out and buy it.

They do seem to ship to the US and Europe.

DVD Beaver comparison HERE, folks.

The Polish set from Warner is clearly the best.

Here is a description of the repackaged set according to Merlin (an online bookshop in Warsaw) at http://www.merlin.com.pl/frontend/towar/451425

A complete set containing 10 of Krzysztof Kieślowski's films and an "Archive" — a supplement of unique interviews and reminiscences about the work of this remarkable director. [...] Discs 1-5 (two-sided) contain the 10 films of "Dekalog" as well as the supplements complementing each film. Disc 6 (one-sided) contains the "Archive" [...]

This set is available. The note doesn't say if the supplements were subtitled in English (in the original package the supplements were unfortunately in Polish only; I phoned Warner in Warsaw complaining about this, got one of the producers, she seemed surprised — typical bureaucratic inertia, it's just terrible). ](*,)

Thanks for the links to those other Polish dvd sites. Now I just have to figure out how to navigate through to check out.

The bonus disc is not subtitled as stated on dvdbeaver, though i might buy it just to watch the 3 hours and 20 minutes worth of footage.

Is there any chance this version might appear in Region 1? What do we need to do to get Warner to put this on their consideration set?

Uh, do we have any indication at all that Warner actually owns the U.S. home video rights to this? I would be really, really shocked if they do. The fact they released it in its home country doesn't prove anything by itself.
