The Kino DVD's subtitles are barely readable and I'm wondering if the Tartan DVD (UK) has better subtitles. I'm willing to double dip only if it has better and more solid subtitles.

Any comments, thoughts about Those Who Love Me Can Take the Train are welcome here since I absolutely love this film with all my self. Now #3 on the list of my all time faves.

Hmm ... I didn't know anything about the film, but was considering picking it up based on the title and a brief synopsis.

I just went to the Tartan website but couldn't find a picture of the cover. It's probably just a copy of the Kino that's around, but if I saw the Tartan cover I could be sure. [The Kino cover looks somewhat familiar].

Anyway, thanks for the rec.
If it happens to be the Tartan that's here, I'll let you know.

It's Artificial Eye. My mistake.

Take a look at the UK DVD on ebay:

I wonder if its quality is superior to the Kino DVD.

A couple of positive reviews of the Artificial Eye release here and here.
I've thought about buying this, myself, but decided to pick up Intimacy first.

Excellent film with a magnificent soundtrack (Bjork, Everything But The Girl, etc)...the problem with the UK disc is that the subtitles are simply humongous!!

Well then, definitely the Kino available here in bastardized version. All of those Artificial Eye have that same clunky, semi-ugly series design. Easy to spot, I'll say that for them.

I look forward to getting this film.

Thanks for the links. Looks like a double dip for me.
