According to this page here, this late Stanley Donen oddity (and a personal favorite) will be released this year:

Any love for this film out there? It's funny when you think that the man responsible for such great MGM musicals spent the best part of his later career indulging himself in truly odd films:
Bedazzled, of course;
The Little Prince (I kinda like this one, though);
Saturn 3 (!);
Blame it on Rio (!!) (were the 80's such a bad phase for everyone with a real talent?!).

This is a long time favorite of mine, the best use of Peter Cook and Dudley Moore ("Arthur" notwithstanding) on film ever. A great '60s comedy that possibly been tarnished reputation-wise by the Harold Ramis remake years back.
This film deserves some rediscovery, and I hope I see a new disc from Fox before year's end.

I love it. Hilarious stuff.
George Spiggott: In the words of Marcel Proust - and this applies to any woman in the world - if you can stay up and listen with a fair degree of attention to whatever garbage, no matter how stupid it is that they're coming out with, til ten minutes past four in the morning... you're in.
I really wish that Warner would release The Rise and Rise of Michael Rimmer on DVD. An underappreciated dark comedy with Cook's best movie role.

The Digital Bits has this listed as being released by Fox on April 3rd (same day as the new "All That Jazz" SE).
For the love of God and all his fallen angels, can someone please confirm this?

Well, no etailer seems to have this for pre-order as of yet but if the Bits are telling you it's April, 3rd then they're probably right. I mean, they're
usually right. They get their release dates from the horse's mouth so to speak and unless something goes wrong with a specific DVD, it's pretty much gospel.
About time too! "Julie Andrews!" indeed.

Fox stuff up another recent transfer. Early reviews for Bedazzled confirm a 1:85:1 transfer for this 2:35:1 motion picture. Stick to the R2/R4.

What? Are you sure? Where did you read it?
The back cover says it's 2.35:

Multiple posters at DVD Talk confirm that it's 2.35:1. Looks like the 1.85:1 claim began with a single reviewer who didn't do his homework.

DVD Savant
The eye-popping enhanced color transfer returns the film to its proper Panavision framing
Mine is on the way. Can't wait.
