He didn't direct it. This set will only include films directed by him. That's why they also left out
The Panic on Needle Park. However,
Amazon lists it as part of the Al Pacino Collection... :-k

Yeah, I read on DavisDVD (I believe) that Fox will be releasing Author! Author! and Panic on Needle Park separately on October 17th... huzzah!

Fox has re-announced the boxset. From DavisDVD:
Al Pacino: An Actor's Vision [Update]
For the fourth time in nearly two years, 20th Century Fox has (re)announced Al Pacino: An Actor's Vision box set for April 24th. The four-disc set will include the films Chinese Coffee, The Local Stigmatic and Looking for Richard - each with new anamorphic transfers, commentary tracks with Pacino, auto play prologs/epilogs and trailers. The bonus fourth disc will feature the documentary Babblelonia as well as an easter egg. Retail is $34.98. Also due on the same day are the previously delayed Author! Author! and Panic in Needle Park, each with 1.85:1 anamorphic transfers, Dolby Digital 2.0 tracks and trailers. Retail is $14.98 each.
