This DVD is simply pathetic. It's missing dts sound when the menu gives it as an option. The subtitles are are awful, and worst: every five minutes the logo of the company pops up in the corner. I stopped watching this after 10 minutes.

Sal, if you are in Chongqing, simply return it to the vendor. They'll exchange it for any other Dvd. Of course this is easier to do if you buy from a shop and not a street vendor, which is a good reason to avoid the street guys.

There are other bootleg editions of Kekixili available in China. Look for it with a different cover. Generally, the more English on the cover the better. Over time, you'll learn which bootleg brands (a funny, but valuable concept) are best.

Thanks for the tip. I returned another DVD 'Music Box' because it has NO subtitles - they even gave me my money back! 25 kuai!

Last night I saw 'Ye Yan' - I thought it was great.

It seems Zoke Culture will never have good english subtitles.
