Anyone seen the new remastered B&W glory - Holiday Inn? Just out on DVD from Universal. I think this film deserves every bit of the popularity of its follow up White Christmas, a film I find terrible and dull. Holiday Inn, on the other hand, bursts with sweetness and magic - always a joy to watch on lazy December afternoons. The perfect antitode to White Christmas.

I love white christmas, but mostly because It's a film I watched a lot as a child. I'll definitely check this one out.

I always found "Holiday Inn" far superior to "White Christmas" (but I did like the "Sisters" number -- which had no counterpart in the earlier film).
