Universal's website is showing that in a
2-disc Collector's Edition of this film is coming on January 23rd, 2007.

This film thankfully has fallen into the dustbin of history. It appears that people knew how to quit it.
I just hope that this faboo DVD includes some alternate endings and maybe user control over camera angles.

Lets not get the debate started again when gay posters here have a holier-than-thou attitude towards gay films and that gay films should only be made by gay directors and gay actors. Who do Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal think they are by pretending to be gays? Well, they are actors for a start. Who does Ang Lee think he is by making a gay film. You know any debate is hopeless when gay posters are claiming that Boy Culture (a terrible gay film full of cliches, stereotypes and the worst hammy acting) is better than Brokeback Mountain.

My personal opinion is that "This is Spinal Tap" is the greatest film about gay people ever made. The title, the cold sores that David and Nigel share, Nigel's sad stare as Janine swoops in and takes the love of his life away from him... It's all there. A touching, rock filled love story If I ever saw one.

So is the quiche in that video cover meant to be the gay equivalent of the pie in that teen film? (Trying hard not to make any cheesy, crumbly crust jokes) and if it is, is there some kind of definitive list of 'gay' objects similar to the gay news report from The Day Today?

A quick look at the world's walls. The wailing wall is gay, Hadrien's Wall is
very gay, the Great Wall of China is
not gay and the Old Wall of London has also stopped being gay.
Gay cars next - they are the same as last night, all Volkswagen's registered between 1982 and 1985. They stay gay for another fortnight.
And finally the gay seas are the Caspian and the Mediterranean so... see you there
