Back in the LD days, 3 such collections were issued. Here they are:

• Broadway Melody, The (1929) B&W 101 minutes
• Show of Shows, The (1929) B&W with 2-strip Technicolour sequence 123 minutes

The Dawn of Sound II

including:

• Hallelujah! (1929) B&W
• Sally (1929) B&W with 2-strip Technicolour

The Dawn of Sound III

including:

• Madame X (1929)
• Golden Dawn (1930)
• They Learned About Women (1930)
• The Last of Mrs. Cheyney (1928)
• Metro MovieTone Short Subjects

Of these, only Broadway Melody and Hallelujah! are out on DVD.

i would really like for more of these movies to come out. it would be nice to have a madame x double feature with both chatterton and george versions.
